Our position
Biasr respects the intellectual property of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent laws.
Submitting a takedown notice
Email dmca@biasr.app with:
- Your full legal name, address, phone, and email.
- The copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL(s) on Biasr where the infringing material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notice
If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address including the items required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
Repeat infringers
We terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
False claims
Knowingly filing a false DMCA notice or counter-notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
